Exclusive types of fiber-optic cables from the JSC "EKZ" for telecommunications

"Electrocable" is ready to offer customers exclusive types of fiber optic cables, previously not produced in Russia.

During  the implementation of the project on organization of production of fiber-optic cables as suppliers of specialized equipment at the JSC "Electrocable" exclusively world-renowned companies with extensive experience in its production have been identified - Rosendahl. Maillefer, Nextrom, Caballe. It allowed to organize the production of exclusive products previously not produced in the Russian Federation.

 We are talking about steel armored wire cables for laying in ground-based optical module with central fiber counts up to 96, inclusive. Development of production of these cables has been possible thanks to the purchase of the extrusion line for the manufacture of central optical module OEL-44 (production f. «Maillefer» ), designed for 96 fibers.

These cables are of OKZK-T along brand with high quality compared to traditional modular cables stranding have less weight and size and correspondingly lower cost, allowing you to optimize the cost of installing new fiber-optic lines or upgrades. Along with the usual performance for direct installation in the ground, it can manufacture such cables sheathed with non-combustible materials for group and single gaskets: OKZKng,  OKZKng-T (C)-T.

Reference: Manufacture of fiber optic cables at JSC "COPIES" opened in January 2012. Power generated of manufacturing a fiber-optic cable will enable recycle to 700 thousand kilometers of optical fiber per year. Cables for underground and overhead wiring are currently manufactured.
